Core Responsibilities: Leading Technical Projects

You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that all technical aspects—from conception to successful completion—are executed on time and within budget.

  1. Project Oversight: Oversee the entire lifecycle for software, hardware, and cloud development projects supporting the organization's VR businesses.

  2. Cross-Functional Leadership: Work collaboratively with diverse teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and cloud and VR architects, to deliver innovative solutions.

  3. Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, incorporating input from all team members.

  4. Risk Management: Utilize excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a core strength in managing project risks and issues.

  5. Negotiation & Team Management: Be adept at negotiating internally and externally and demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members.

  6. Methodology: Utilize expertise with project management tools like Jira, MS Project, and implement Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

Required Qualifications and Expertise

Required Qualifications (Mandatory)

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in software and hardware development, with at least 3 years of experience in project management.

  • Technical Skills: Strong technical foundation, including experience in (or managing projects using) programming languages such as C++, Java, and Python, as well as cloud infrastructure and hardware development.

  • Core Skills: Expert ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules. Excellent communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specific experience with VR development is a significant plus.
